How does Forgotten Cave in MTG work

Forgotten Cave is pretty chill in Magic The Gathering. You can play it as your land for the turn, and it taps for red mana, which is great for any deck needing that color. But, its super power is cycling. For just one red mana, you can discard it from your hand and draw a new card. Perfect for when you're desperately searching for an answer or just a better play. It enters the battlefield tapped though, so no instant mana boost the turn you play it.

Just tap it for red mana, or cycle it to draw a card. Simple as that, but always enters tapped.

Honestly, it's not that great. Always comes into play tapped, which can really slow you down.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
