Mind Flayer is basically the 'Yoink!' card of MTG. You cast it, choose a creature someone else has, and now it's yours. Keep Mind Flayer chilling on the battlefield, and you keep the creature. If Mind Flayer leaves, say bye-bye to your new pet.

So, Mind Flayer in MTG is like the big bad boss of taking control! When you play this eerie sea creature, you get to snatch an opponent's creature right after it hits the battlefield. You keep control of that creature as long as you hold onto Mind Flayer. Just picture it as your sea monster making a new friend, but by force.

Honestly, Mind Flayer is overrated. There are better control cards out there. Sure, taking a creature sounds cool but it's a high-cost card and super vulnerable to removal. There are smarter moves.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
