How does phasing out work with auras in MTG?
In MTG, when something phases out, it's like it temporarily doesn't exist—but it's not considered to leave the battlefield. So, if your creature with an aura phases out, the aura phases out with it as if they're taking a little magic nap together. Once they phase back in during your next untap step, they'll both be back as if nothing happened. It's all about keeping that enchanted bond strong, even when they're on their phase-cation!

Phasing doesn't trigger 'leave the battlefield' effects because the card doesn't actually leave—it just becomes invisible to the game. So, an aura attached to a creature that phases out will just hang out phased out with the creature until they both come back. They're inseparable besties!
Actually, phasing is super simple. Aura stays on the creature. No drama, no separations. They phase out and in together. Like a magic dance nobody else can join.
Auras phase out with the thing they're attached to, but here’s the hot take: this mechanic is more confusing than helpful. Honestly, they should've just made things 'untargetable' instead of 'phasing out'. Would've saved us all a headache.
