In Magic The Gathering, proliferation lets you 'proliferate' or add one more of each kind of counter on any number of players, creatures, or permanents that already have them. So, if you've got a creature with a +1/+1 counter, and you trigger a proliferate ability, you get to add another +1/+1 counter on it. Same goes for loyalty counters on planeswalkers, poison counters on players, and so on. It's like giving your counters a little growth spurt!

Proliferation is basically MTG's version of spreading the love...or doom, depending on what kind of counters you're dealing with. Got a creature or planeswalker already beefed up with counters? Proliferate makes them even beefier!

Too complicated. Just remember this: more counters for everyone (well, everything) that already has them. Easy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
