In MTG, regenerate is like giving your creature a safety net. If it would be destroyed, whether by damage or a spell, you tap it, remove all damage from it, and it lives to fight another round. Think of it like your creature ducking at the last second!

Regenerate is basically a 'get out of death free' card for your creatures in Magic The Gathering. When you activate a regenerate ability (usually paying some mana cost), if the creature would be destroyed that turn, it isn't. Instead, it gets tapped, all damage is removed from it, and it stops being destroyed. It's great for keeping key creatures around.

Honestly, people overcomplicate it. Regenerate = creature doesn't die from damage or 'destroy' effects, but it taps. That's it.

Used regenerate in a big game once. Thought my opponent had me, but right as he dealt what he thought was the finishing blow to my creature, BOOM, regenerate kicked in. Wiped the smug look right off his face as my creature lived to see another turn. Best comeback ever.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
