Risk factor in Magic The Gathering is a fun twist on letting your opponent choose their poison! When you play Risk Factor, you're basically offering your opponent a choice: they can either let you draw three cards or take 4 damage. It's a red instant from the Guilds of Ravnica set and shines in aggressive decks. If you've got the 'Jump-start' ability, which allows you to play it from your graveyard by discarding a card in addition to its other costs, you get to use this lovely dilemma twice!

Risk Factor? More like 'Make my opponent sweat' card. Played it once where my opponent had to choose between giving me the final cards I needed or taking enough damage to almost lose the game. They let me draw, and I won next turn. It's not just about the damage or cards; it's about the pressure it puts on your opponent's decisions.

Short version: They take 4 damage, or you get to draw 3 cards. Use it wisely!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
