How does Rite of Passage work in Magic The Gathering?
Rite of Passage is a cool enchantment card in Magic The Gathering. Whenever a creature you control gets damaged, that creature gets a +1/+1 counter. Imagine someone tries to zap your creature with a lightning bolt, and not only does it survive, but it also gets beefier! So, the more your critters get nicked, the stronger they become. It's like saying, 'What doesn't kill me makes me stronger,' but in MTG style.

Just to keep it simple: Every time one of your creatures takes a hit and lives to tell the tale, it gets a +1/+1 counter because of Rite of Passage. So, your creatures get bigger each time they survive damage.
Honestly, Rite of Passage is kinda overrated. Sure, it buffs your creatures when they're damaged, but only if they don't die. There are better ways to make your creatures tough in MTG.
