How does Sea Gate Restoration work in MTG?

Sea Gate Restoration is a sorcery spell in MTG that lets you draw cards so that the number of cards in your hand equals the number of cards in your largest opponent's hand. Plus, if it was kicked, there's no maximum hand size for the rest of the game. It's like having an all-you-can-eat buffet for your brain but with cards!

Honestly, Sea Gate Restoration is a bit overrated. You're better off with lower-cost draw spells unless you're running a deck that really capitalizes on huge hand sizes.

Just to simplify, Sea Gate Restoration equalizes your hand size to your opponent's biggest hand size and says 'no' to hand size limits if you paid its kicker cost. Efficient and straightforward!

As someone who's played a ton of blue decks, Sea Gate Restoration has been a game changer in late matches. Drawing into it when the board is stalled and hands are low can tilt the game in your favor big time. The no hand size cap? Just icing on the cake.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
