How does Startled Awake work in MTG?

Startled Awake is a pretty cool card from Shadows over Innistrad. It's a sorcery that costs 3 blue and 1 other mana. When you cast it, you get to put the top thirteen cards of target opponent's library into their graveyard. That's a mega mill right there! But wait, there's more! For 5 mana, including 1 blue, you can transform it from your graveyard into a 1/1 creature with skulk, named Persistent Nightmare, which turns back into Startled Awake when it hits your opponent! Spooky and tactical!
