In Magic The Gathering (MTG), stealing a commander is wicked fun but it's a bit tricky! You can snatch an opponent's commander right from under their nose using control spells or abilities. Think cards like "Control Magic" or "Act of Treason" which let you take control of a creature for a turn or indefinitely. But remember, if a commander would be put into a library, hand, or exile, its owner can choose to put it back in the command zone instead. So, while you can control someone's commander for a bit, they can get it back pretty easily.

Honestly, it's usually not worth the effort to steal a commander in MTG. They can just put it back in the command zone. Better to focus on other strategies.

I once stole my buddy's commander for the entire match with a sneaky enchantment. He was fuming, but I couldn't stop laughing. It's definitely possible, but depends heavily on what cards you're playing with!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
