How does Theater of Horrors work in MTG?

Theater of Horrors is pretty neat! It's an enchantment that lets you exile the top card of your library during your upkeep if you dealt damage to your opponent last turn. The cool part? You can play those exiled cards as long as Theater of Horrors remains on the battlefield. But wait, there's more - for 3 mana (1 generic, 1 black, 1 red), you can ping your opponent for 1 damage, ensuring you always have access to your exiled cards. It's like having extra cards in hand that your opponent can't touch!

Just to play devil's advocate, while Theater of Horrors sounds cool, it does require you to consistently deal damage to your opponent to make the most of it. In games where you're behind, it might not be as useful.

From personal experience, Theater of Horrors can be a game-changer in the right deck. I once pulled off a comeback from 1 life because it gave me access to more options. It's all about that damage though, keep the pressure up!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
