How does token commander damage work in MTG?
Actually, tokens usually don't deal commander damage since most tokens aren't commanders. BUT if you've got a token that's a copy of a commander (thanks to some spell or ability), then yes, those token copies can absolutely rack up commander damage. Just make sure your playgroup is cool with tracking it, since things can get a bit confusing.

Token commander damage in MTG works just like any other commander damage. If a token is a copy of a commander, it can indeed deal commander damage to a player. Remember, a player loses the game if they're dealt 21 or more damage by a single commander over the course of the game. The key thing is that the token must be a copy of a commander; other types of tokens don't count for commander damage.
Nope, tokens don't count. Commander damage has to come from the commander itself, not some copycat token.
