How does wear and tear work in MTG?
Wear // Tear is a split card from the Dragon's Maze set of Magic: The Gathering. When you play it, you can choose to cast either Wear or Tear, or both if you have enough mana. Wear can destroy an artifact with three or less converted mana cost, and Tear can destroy an enchantment. Pretty handy for dealing with pesky permanents on the cheap!

Wear // Tear is basically your go-to for dealing with small annoyances on the battlefield. Cost-wise, it's efficient since you can target both an artifact and an enchantment for just one of each white and red mana. If you're running a deck that faces a lot of artifacts and enchantments, keep this card in mind.
Wear // Tear? Overrated. There are better options out there if you're looking to handle artifacts and enchantments. Sure, it's flexible, but I'd rather pack something with more punch.
