MTG Arena is free-to-play, which means you can start without spending a dime! However, if you wanna get ahead faster or collect more cards, you can buy in-game currency for booster packs, event entries, and cosmetic items. It's pretty much up to you how much you spend.

Honestly, it depends on your patience level. You can grind it out without spending anything, but if you're like me and want the best cards ASAP, you'll end up spending more than you initially planned. Totally worth it if you're competitive.

MTG Arena itself won't cost you anything to download and play. You can earn cards and packs through playing, but real talk, dropping some cash can speed up building a competitive deck. Think of it like any other free game - free to start, pay to get the good stuff faster.

You don't HAVE to spend money, but let's be real, to keep up and have the full experience, you're gonna want to. It's not that it's super expensive, but it's easy to get caught up wanting the latest decks or cool cosmetics.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
