Starter decks in MTG Arena are surprisingly decent! They're designed to give newbies a fighting chance and a taste of different playstyles. While you're not going to steamroll seasoned players right out of the gate, these decks can hold their own in beginner matches and help you learn the ropes. Plus, as you play more and start understanding how different cards and combos work, you can tweak these decks with new cards you earn or buy to make them even stronger.

Honestly, they're just okay. Starter decks are more about learning how to play than winning big. They'll introduce you to the game's mechanics and get you started, but if you wanna really compete, you're gonna need to upgrade and customize your deck.

They're solid for beginners! I started with a MTG Arena starter deck and managed to rack up a decent win rate in casual play. Sure, they're not top-tier competitive decks, but they鈥檙e a great starting point. It's all about skill and strategy.

Starter decks are a trap. Build your own ASAP.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
