Golden Egg is surprisingly versatile for a common artifact! It offers a little bit of everything - mana fixing, card draw, and even a smidge of life gain. It's not the flashiest card in your deck, but in formats like Limited or in specific decks that benefit from having artifacts or need the color fixing, it can be a useful tool. Don't underestimate the power of an egg!

Honestly, in a competitive constructed format, Golden Egg isn't going to break the meta. It's too slow and the benefits are too minor. There are better options for mana fixing or card draw.

Used it in a draft once, worked wonders for mana fixing and the card draw was a nice bonus. Plus, it's pretty thematic in a food-themed deck!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
