It's simple: 30 minutes per player in Best of 1, and the same for the entirety of Best of 3 matches. You also get around 30 seconds for each action. Don't dawdle!

In MTG Arena, the timer length can vary depending on a few factors. Typically, each player has a 30-minute match clock for Best of 1 matches. If you're playing a Best of 3 match, each player gets a 30-minute timer for the entire match. Plus, there's a separate action timer to prevent players from taking too long on a single turn, which usually gives you about 30 seconds to make a move. Remember, if you run out of time, you automatically lose the game, so keep an eye on those clocks!

Honestly, timers are way too short for new players. Barely enough time to think!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
