Sets in MTG Arena typically stick around for about 15 to 24 months, depending on when they were introduced in the Standard rotation. The Standard format includes the most recent sets, and older ones phase out as new sets are introduced to keep the game fresh!

They don't stay forever! Sets rotate out of Standard on MTG Arena every fall, so you get around 1-2 years of playtime with each set depending on its release schedule.

Honestly, it feels like just as you get attached to a set, it's time to say goodbye. But yeah, roughly 2 years give or take.
