How long does a deck last in Standard MTG?
In the world of Magic The Gathering, a Standard deck typically lasts until the annual rotation, which happens every fall. This means most Standard decks have a lifespan of about 12 to 24 months. However, the specific time depends on when the cards in your deck were released. New sets are added to Standard each fall, winter, and spring, pushing the oldest sets out. So if you build a deck with cards from the latest set, you'll get to enjoy it for close to two years!

Honestly, it feels like you blink and your deck is out of Standard. But really, you've got between 1 and 2 years before you need to revamp it for the next rotation.
Depends on the meta and rotation. Some decks evolve and stay competitive longer by swapping out a few cards. Others? Dead on rotation day.
