How many boxes do you need to complete an MTG set?
Completing an MTG set can feel a bit like trying to catch a unicorn on a skateboard - theoretically possible, but you're gonna need luck and persistence. On average, about 6 booster boxes should give you a pretty solid shot at nabbing most of the set, including those elusive mythic rares. But remember, RNGesus can be fickle, so results may vary!

Just buy singles. Trust me, it's way more efficient and way less heartbreaking than opening box after box and still missing that one mythic rare.
From my own experience, it took me 4 boxes to nearly complete a set, but I had to trade some cards to really finish it off. So, it's not just about the number of boxes, but a bit of community engagement helps too!
