A standard Magic The Gathering deck needs at least 60 cards. But if you're diving into Commander, then you're looking at a deck of exactly 100 cards, including your commander. Remember, more cards = more possibilities but also a bigger challenge to find what you need!

Gotta have 60 cards minimum for most formats, but you can legit have more if you want. Just know, every card over 60 makes your deck less consistent. So keep it tight, keep it right.

60 for a typical game. 100 for Commander. But really, who's stopping you from making a 200 card behemoth? Just remember, you gotta be able to shuffle it!

Honestly, just stick to 60 cards. People who add more just make the game drag on forever. Keep it simple, keep it fun.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
