In most Magic The Gathering formats, you can have up to four copies of any one card in your deck, excluding basic lands which you can have any number of. Just make sure to check the specific rules for the format you're playing as some might have different restrictions!

Only 4 copies max for any card except basic lands, which are unlimited. Though, some formats like Commander cap you at 1 copy of each card, making every game a unique experience.

4's the magic number for copies of the same card in a deck. But for Commander, it's Highlander-style: one of each only!

Honestly, why would anyone need more than four? Keeps the game balanced and everyone on their toes. Plus, it makes deck building a real strategy instead of just stacking the best cards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
