In Magic The Gathering, the number of dice you'll use can really vary. Some players might be fine with just one or two dice for tracking their life total, but others prefer to have a handful for counting counters on creatures, charge counters on artifacts, or even tokens. So, it can range from 1 to a whole bunch, depending on how deep you're into the game and what decks you play!

Just one big spindown die does the trick for me, keeps life tracking simple and it's less to carry. Plus, it's all about the cards anyway!

Honestly, bring as many as you can fit in your bag. Between tracking life, counters, and sometimes even flipping for random effects, you'll find a use for every single one.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
