Standard for Magic The Gathering typically includes the most recent main sets, usually around 5 to 8 at any given time. The exact number can fluctuate because a new set gets added every few months, and older sets cycle out annually to keep the game fresh and balanced. So, you'll want to check the latest updates on the Wizards of the Coast website to get the current number!

Just check the MTG website or any MTG news site. They keep an updated count and list of what's in Standard.

8 sets, no more, no less. That's how it should always be to keep the game perfectly balanced.

Around 5 to 8, depending on when you ask. Sets cycle in and out, so it's not a fixed number.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
