Eh, just throw spells and see what sticks. Kidding! But really, it's all about timing and knowing when to play your cards. The stack can get complicated, but it's what makes MTG the chess of card games.

Think of the stack in Magic The Gathering like a stack of dishes. Each time a player casts a spell, activates an ability, or triggers an effect, it's like they're putting another dish on top of the stack. The last thing to go on the stack is the first thing to come off, resolving before anything else. Players can respond to each action before it resolves, adding their own actions to the top of the stack. This keeps going until there's nothing left to resolve, and the game moves forward.

The stack in MTG is basically your game's version of last in, first out. When you or someone else plays a spell or ability, it goes on the stack. If anything else is played in response, it goes on top. You start resolving from the top. So the last thing played is the first to resolve. Simple!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
