Accepting a direct challenge in MTG Arena is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. First, make sure you and your friend are both online and available in-game. Then, click on the Direct Challenge icon (looks kinda like two crossed swords) in the upper right corner of the Home screen. You'll need to type in your friend's full username and the five-digit number attached to it. Hit 'Send' and wait for them to accept. Voila, you're ready to battle it out!

Honestly, I think they could make the process simpler, but once you've done it a few times, it's not too bad. Just make sure your friend's username is correct; otherwise, you'll be waiting for a challenge acceptance that never comes.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
