Adding friends in MTG Arena on mobile is pretty straightforward! Just tap on the 'Social' icon (looks like two people) at the bottom of the main screen. Then, tap on the 'Add Friend' button and enter your friend's full Display Name, including the four-digit tag number. Hit send, and voila, friend request sent!

Just go to social and hit add friend. You need their full name and #tag. No biggie.

Honestly, I just spam the add friend till it works. Never had to remember the tag number, just kept guessing. Worked eventually.
