Firstly, gentle is the way to go. Lightly dampen a soft cloth with water (or a tiny bit of mild soap for tougher grime) and gently wipe the outside of the sleeve. Avoid soaking them, as moisture can sneak into the sleeve and damage the card. Let them air dry completely before shuffling your deck for another round of games.

Honestly, just buy new ones. Sleeves are pretty cheap, and if they're getting grimy, it's way easier and safer for your cards to replace them than to risk damaging your precious MTG collection trying to clean them.

I've had luck using a bit of rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth for sticky spots. Just dab it lightly on the troublesome area and rub gently. Works like a charm, but make sure not to drench the sleeve. Alcohol evaporates quickly, reducing the risk of moisture damage to your cards.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
