Short version: you get to draw an extra card during your end step. But beware, everyone at the table will be eyeing that crown, ready to snatch it away with some sneaky combat damage!

In MTG, being the monarch gives you a nifty perk: at the beginning of your end step, you draw a card. Simple, right? But hold on, it's not just about the extra card. The title of monarch can be stolen! If another player deals combat damage to you, they snag the crown and the card-drawing perk. So, it adds a spicy layer of strategy and backstabbing as everyone wants to be the king of the card draw.

Being the monarch is the best! Extra cards just for being in charge? Sign me up. But seriously, it's a cool mechanic that makes games more dynamic. Plus, the whole monarch thing adds a fun role-playing element to the game. Just don't get too attached to the crown; it tends to change heads faster than you can say 'Draw'.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
