Just to add, not every spell can be kicked. It's a special feature on certain cards. So, if you see 'Kicker' followed by a cost, that鈥檚 your cue you can pump it up for more power or a different effect.
Kicker is a cool option you can choose to pay when you cast a spell for some extra oomph. Basically, you pay the kicker cost in addition to the spell's mana cost to unlock additional or enhanced effects. It's like ordering a burger and deciding to supersize it for more fries!
Played a game last week where a kicked spell totally flipped the table. Paid extra mana and the effect was so worth it. Kicker can turn a decent play into a game-winning move!
