What is a charge counter in Magic The Gathering?
A charge counter in MTG is basically a way to keep track of certain effects or abilities on a card. Think of it as those little beads or dice you put on a card to remember it's got some extra juice. Cards can gain or lose charge counters, and these counters often increase the card's abilities or are needed to activate them. So, more counters, more power or options in your gameplay.

Charge counter? It's just a marker. Some cards say 'add a charge counter' or 'remove a charge counter' to do something cool. More counters, better the card gets or the cooler the effect you can use.
Honestly, charge counters are overrated. Just play creatures and win. Who needs counters?
