Honestly, artist proofs are overhyped. They can't be played in official games since they're not tournament legal. Just fancy collector's items, nothing more.

An artist proof in MTG is basically a special version of a card that's given directly to the artist by Wizards of the Coast. They're like the regular cards but with a blank white back. Artists usually get about 50 of these for each card they illustrate, and they're super unique because artists can customize the back with original art or signatures. Great collector's item if you're into that!

Artist proofs are those neat little rarities where the back of the card is blank. Perfect for autographs or custom art if you meet the artist at a convention!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
