Banding is a classic MTG ability that lets any number of creatures with banding (and up to one without) attack or block together as a single unit. When blocking with banding, you get to decide how the attacking creature's damage is assigned, not the attacker. This can really turn the tide of battle by strategically minimizing damage to your creatures!

In simple terms, think of banding as the ultimate teamwork ability in Magic The Gathering. Creatures band together, sharing the glory and the risk. It's like they're holding hands to face danger together. But remember, it's an old ability, so newer players might not encounter it much.

Used banding once in a commander game. It's like a puzzle, figuring out the best way to distribute damage. Really threw my opponent for a loop. Totally underrated ability.

Honestly, banding is confusing and not really worth the hassle. Better to focus on abilities from newer sets.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
