Horsemanship? It's basically flying but set in ancient China. Only creatures with horsemanship can block others with the same ability. Super niche but cool when it pops up in a game.

Horsemanship is an ability in Magic The Gathering (MTG) that makes creatures with this ability harder to block except by other creatures that have horsemanship. Think of it as flying, but for horses. Not many cards have it, making it a rare and often strategically advantageous trait in gameplay, especially in formats where these older cards are allowed.

Horsemanship is an outdated mechanic that hardly sees play. Unless you're diving into some specific legacy formats or casual games that dig deep into MTG's history, you won't see it much. Cool concept, but overshadowed by more common abilities like flying.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
