Ward is like your creature's personal bodyguard in Magic: The Gathering. When a card has Ward, it means any time your opponent tries to target that card with a spell or ability, they have to pay an extra cost or the spell fizzles out. It's a great way to protect your important creatures on the battlefield. Think of it as an insurance policy against your opponent's attempts to mess with your game plan.

It's an awesome ability that makes opponents think twice before messing with your cards. I had a deck with a bunch of creatures with ward, and it was like watching opponents squirm, trying to decide if it was worth the extra cost. Super satisfying!

Overrated. Just pack some removal that doesn't target or play around it. Easy.

Ward in MTG is basically a tax on your opponents. They wanna zap your creature? They gotta pay extra mana or whatever the ward cost specifies. It's like telling your opponent, 'You can try, but it's gonna cost ya!'

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
