Instants in MTG are super versatile, you can play them almost any time! That means during your turn, your opponent's turn, in the middle of combat, before the end step, whenever you have the mana and the will. They're perfect for surprising your opponent or responding to their moves.

Only on your opponent's turn, obviously. It's in the name, INSTANT. Gotta catch them off guard.

Actually, instants can be played at almost any point in the game, not just during your own turn or your opponent's, but also in response to other spells being cast or abilities being activated. As long as you have the mana, you can cast an instant. This flexibility is what makes instants a powerful tool in any MTG player's arsenal.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
