When can you play a land in MTG?
In Magic The Gathering, you can play a land during your main phase when the stack is empty. This means you can play a land on your turn, either before or after you've cast spells or attacked, as long as nothing else is currently happening. Just remember, you're limited to playing just one land per turn, so use it wisely!

Quick tip: Only one land per turn, folks! During your main phase when no other spells are casting.
Actually, some cards let you play additional lands on your turn. So, while the basic rule is one land per main phase on your turn, always check your cards for exceptions!
