Why does MTG Arena keep installing?

So, MTG Arena might keep installing for a few reasons. The most common one is updates – the game gets a lot of them to keep things fresh and fix bugs. Sometimes, if an update doesn't install correctly, the game might attempt to reinstall itself to fix the problem. Also, check your internet connection; a shaky connection can interrupt updates, causing repeated attempts. Lastly, it could be a glitch in the installation files. Try uninstalling and doing a clean reinstall to see if that fixes it.

Short answer: it's updating. MTG Arena gets updated a lot to keep the game running smoothly and to add new content. So, what you're seeing is probably just regular maintenance.

Honestly, it's probably just bugged. Happened to me before. I uninstalled, cleared out all the leftover files, then reinstalled, and it was fine after that. Annoying, but it worked.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
