There's been a lot of buzz about this, but as of my last check, Wizards of the Coast hasn't confirmed Commander for MTG Arena. Given the format's popularity, it wouldn't be shocking to see it added down the line. MTGA devs are pretty good at listening to player feedback, so if there's enough demand, who knows?

As someone who's been playing MTG since the 90s, I dream of the day Commander hits Arena. But realistically, we might see a 'Commander Lite' version first, maybe something that eases into full Commander play. The format's huge, and adapting it for digital play is no small feat.

No way, Commander's way too complex for Arena. The platform's not built to handle 100-card singleton decks, plus all the multiplayer interactions. It's a whole different beast compared to what Arena currently offers.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
